Healthy Oat-Almond Cake Recipe

 

Ingredients: 

  • 3 eggs (separated) 
  • 100g oat flour (homemade from oats works well) 
  • 50g almond powder 
  • 1/2 cup grape syrup 
  • 1/2 cup oat milk 
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 

Instructions: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 320°F (160°C). 
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the grape syrup and oat milk until smooth. 
  3. Add the oat flour, almond powder, and baking powder to the yolk mixture. Stir until well combined. 
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. 
  5. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the batter, taking care not to deflate the mixture. 
  6. Pour the batter into a greased or lined baking pan. 
  7. Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 
  8. Let cool before serving.
